I am a Building, Furniture & Interior Designer with extensive Design Development experience in the high-end Luxury Residential Market. With over 33 years experience in Architecture and Interior Design, overseeing the Design, Specifications, Procurement and installation of multi-million dollar Custom & Speculative Homes from San Francisco, Hawaii, St. Bart's to Desert projects in the Vintage Club, Bighorn, the Reserve, Tradition, Hideaway, the Madison Club, Mirada Estates and others. I relocated to the desert in 2001 to work with the Steve Chase & Associates Interior Design firm after being based in San Francisco for 22 years where I had many opportunities to work with exceptional
Clients, Architects and Interior Designers including 9 years for the 2000 ASID Designer of the Year, and with the 2000 AIA Architect of the Year, Ricardo Legoretta. I am a former wholesale Contract Furniture & Lighting Showrooms co-owner, and conducted business in the San Francisco and Los Angeles/ West Hollywood design markets. I attended NEOCON regularly in Chicago, and have been to ICFF and High-Point, NC furniture shows. I am an Educator, co-founder of Western Design Institute now part of JFK University, I taught at University of California Berkeley, San Francisco extension for 18 years and the Academy of Art College in San Francisco and others. While at UCB SF extension I taught for 13 years 'Introduction to Interior Architecture/ Interior Design', accredited by UCB Architecture Department for 4 ARCH units along with other classes. Showing an early talent for art, sketching and painting, I continued study at UCB SF extension for 7 years with Fred Reichman culminating in a Two-Person Art Show at the Extension Gallery and inclusion in a Faculty Art Show.
