BuildingDesign  Two Built Residences  Big Horn Golf Club

Both of these built homes, located in Bighorn Golf Club, one each on the Mountains course and the Canyons course, were designed for a
well known Developer, PAR Development and Investors.  Building, Interior and Landscape designed for their respective sites, Netas, was first designed and review board approved as a Contemporary / Modern residence (see slide show) before reinvention and new review board approval as a more Traditional, early California Colonial Style 4 bedroom, 3.75 bathroom in 5397 square feet with heavy sculptural stucco walls and a guest casita balcony overlooking an enclosed court yard oasis with pool and spa.   Truly a home designed for the Southern California Desert lifestyle with 'disappearing' glass walls and dual outdoor rooms capitalizing on both the unique natural surroundings and the Mountains golf course view.
As featured in a Palm Springs Life magazine, May 2008 (pg.112-13) article entitled 'Sweet Dreams', the finished home was photographed for the book
Dream Homes Deserts by Panache Partners, LLC  , the interiors were installed by Bill Miller of William Miller Design.

Rocky Creek was envisioned as an rambling, expansive Canyon Side estate home capitalizing on the incredible Canyons golf course and valley views.  A Traditional entry courtyard facade quickly reveals a wide open opposite side with its exceptional views through 'disappearing' glass walls and outdoor living spaces perched over the golf course and valley beyond.  Briefly under contract during construction the residence was slightly customized and expanded to four bedrooms, six baths and upper level guest casita over looking the entry motor court in 7379 square feet.  The home is currently on the market, the expansive views, a wonderful description and beautiful photographs of the interiors similar to the Proposed Furniture Plan shown in the slide show with the installation completed by others can be seen here; 608 Rocky Creek, Bighorn Golf Club

NOTE: All drawings have been hand-drawn and colored by Reginald Van Pelt.

"The unique challenge of designing on a golf course lot can actually lead to exceptional solutions, as with Netas, with southern exposure and mountain views street-side and golf course view opposite we were able to respond to the natural characteristics and man-made amenities creating the ultimate Southern California Desert lifestyle experience with disappearing walls and dual outdoor rooms."
